Service differences & what to check before bookingWhat happens next?
- Describe the journey. Enter the route, timing, vehicle and contact details in the online form, or email an individual delivery brief.
- Review your quote. Check the offered service, total price, timing, handling and applicable Terms. Ask us about anything that does not match your requirements.
- Receive Booking Confirmation. A quote request or payment alone does not confirm transport. We confirm the booking once the required arrangements are agreed.

Check the details before booking.
Secure UK Couriers is a trading name of Cornwall Couriers Ltd. The shared quote form opens on a separate website with a Cornwall Couriers notice. You may also see Secure UK Couriers branding, and booking emails may arrive from Secure UK Couriers.
Check the provider, service, full price, VAT, handling requirements, cover and Terms shown there before continuing. This website’s guide is not a confirmed quote or booking.
Check the service before you book
The online form currently offers Premium, Standard and Economy. Its service definitions and cover information are not yet aligned with this website’s four-service guide. For Dedicated transport, or where the details differ, email us for a written quote confirming the service, timing, handling, price and cover you need.
Read the Terms linked in the form for your request. The shared service also publishes the Secure UK Couriers Terms and Privacy notice. Opening the form does not accept any terms.
If you used our Service Finder or Vehicle Guide, copy your delivery summary before continuing. Your answers are not automatically transferred to the online form; include the relevant details when requesting your quote.
Before a booking is confirmed
Published Terms. Effective 10 October 2026 at 10:01 BST (UK time). Existing bookings keep their agreed terms. Reading this page does not accept any Terms. Confirm the applicable Terms shown by the separate online quote service before booking.
Read the booking details
- Who is booking: Cornwall Couriers Ltd is the contracting company for both brands. Tell us whether you are booking mainly for personal or business purposes and whether you act for someone else. A business name or email alone does not determine Consumer status.
- The complete delivery: agree all collection and delivery stops, dates or windows, any important deadline, the goods, packed dimensions, weight, current value, existing damage and required handling. Confirm the service, crew, equipment and any planned transfers.
- The price: a Consumer quote must show the VAT-inclusive total and known unavoidable charges, or explain the calculation of a charge that cannot yet be calculated. Business prices identify any VAT to be added. The written quote must state its expiry, payment deadline and any extra-charge calculation. Optional work needs agreement.
- Business goods liability: the v1.7 UK limits are £10,000 for Dedicated or Premium, £500 for Standard and £100 for Economy, for the whole Consignment under one Booking. These limits do not cap Consumer claims and are not insurance-cover amounts. A value above the relevant Business limit needs individual review; an increase up to £50,000 requires prior express written acceptance. Entering a value or choosing a service does not approve it.
- Handling and waiting: the v1.7 combined waiting, loading and unloading allowance at each Stop is 30 minutes for Dedicated or Premium, 15 for Standard and 10 for Economy. Van/Luton excess is £12 including VAT for each started 15-minute period. The clock starts only when the Driver is ready, has notified the contact and the agreed window has begun. Time caused by us is excluded; the same work or time is not charged twice. Lorry and specialist arrangements are agreed individually.
- Cancellation and international work: cancellation rules depend on the Booking; dated goods transport generally has no statutory 14-day cooling-off right. The v1.7 contractual charges depend on timing and reasonable net loss. International, island, ferry and specialist arrangements need individual confirmation of the route, carrier role, applicable terms, customs responsibilities and any mandatory claims rules.
- Confirmation and a copy: under the v1.7 direct-booking process, a request or payment alone does not confirm carriage. Written Booking Confirmation follows review, any required payment or approved account terms, and suitable transport. The agreed Terms and booking information must be provided in a form you can keep. An authorised marketplace can have a different acceptance process.
Read the full v1.7 Terms and Schedule A, or keep the exact approved v1.7 PDF. Privacy information is separate from Terms acceptance and marketing choices.

No quote email received?
Check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find a response, email us with any reference shown by the form. A submission message alone does not confirm that an email has arrived or that your delivery is booked. Please contact us before sending the same request again.
Having trouble with the form?
If it does not load or cannot describe your delivery accurately, email your delivery details. Follow the form’s next-step instructions and keep the response for your records.
A few details, made clear.
How do I get a courier delivery price?
Start with Get a quote and provide both postcodes, a goods description, the number of pieces, packaged dimensions, total weight and timing. For international shipments, several stops or unusual handling, email the complete requirements together. The price guide helps with initial planning; the actual consignment needs a reviewed quote.
What is the difference between the price estimate and a firm quote?
The website estimate illustrates transport for a simple UK mainland road journey using your entered mileage, service and vehicle category. Personal is selected by default and shows one transport price including VAT. Choose Business to see the same estimate before VAT, marked + VAT. Extras are excluded as explained beside the estimate. A firm quote follows review of the real route, goods, timing and handling, with the applicable VAT, charges and conditions confirmed. An estimate does not reserve a vehicle or establish the final price.
Does a quote or payment confirm my booking?
For a direct booking, a quote, booking request or payment is not itself Booking Confirmation. We confirm separately after reviewing the details, verifying any required payment or approved account terms and securing suitable transport. An expressly authorised marketplace or other agreed acceptance channel may have a different process; a contract already accepted through that channel is not made provisional by our internal confirmation steps. Check the agreed route, goods, timing, service and price before relying on the arrangement.
How should I measure and weigh my goods?
Measure each complete item after packaging: length, width and height, including any crate, pallet or overhang. Give the gross weight and the number of pieces. Tell us if an item must remain upright, cannot be stacked or has a fragile surface. For the Vehicle Finder, weight is per item and quantity is the number of identical packed items.
