How Payments Work | Cornwall Couriers

Check the details before paying.

Match the payment request to the delivery or invoice it relates to. Check the reference, amount and agreed payment deadline, and use the method confirmed in that document. This information page does not take payments.

If anything is unclear or does not match the arrangement you agreed, contact Cornwall Couriers before proceeding. Include your invoice or booking reference so we can identify the question.

Payment and Booking Confirmation.

Where payment is required in advance, the payment request states the amount, method and deadline for that requirement. Follow the instructions for your particular delivery.

Making or initiating a payment does not by itself confirm a booking. Check the written Booking Confirmation for the accepted service, route, timing and any agreed conditions before treating the delivery as confirmed.

Understand the quoted price and VAT.

The courier price guide helps you plan; an indicative estimate is not a firm quotation. Check the agreed delivery details and any additional requirements against the quotation you receive.

For a price shown as + VAT, check the amount before VAT, the VAT amount and the total payable. Raise any difference between the quotation and payment request before paying.

Trade Account payment arrangements.

Trade Account terms require separate approval. Submitting an application or creating a portal account does not approve credit or establish a payment period. Use the payment terms agreed for your account and the particular booking.

For regular business deliveries, you can enquire about a Trade Account.

A payment or invoice question?

Use Contact & booking support and give the invoice or booking reference with a brief explanation. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or security codes in an enquiry.
