Healthcare · Suitability first

Healthcare deliveries. Clear limits, careful planning.

We review suitable general courier consignments for healthcare organisations to and from Cornwall and across the UK. Every medical-related enquiry needs its contents and transport requirements checked before acceptance.

Check suitability before booking.

We do not offer work requiring certifications or authorisations that we do not hold. This is not an offer of licensed specialist medical transport, dangerous-goods transport or temperature-controlled transport. Email the requirements first; no medical consignment is accepted solely because it fits in a vehicle.

Describe the actual goods and their requirements.

A delivery to a clinic is not automatically a specialist medical shipment, but the contents still matter. Start with a clear, non-sensitive description of the items and their intended transport conditions. Suitable general goods may be considered; no whole category of medical products is automatically approved.

Explain whether any manufacturer, sender or receiving organisation specifies special storage, temperature, handling, security or transport requirements. If a certification, authorisation or specialist capability is required, tell us at the enquiry stage so we can identify whether the request is outside our service.

Keep specialist requirements outside general courier assumptions.

We decline work requiring certifications or authorisations we do not hold. Do not use this page as confirmation that we can carry clinical samples, blood products, medicines, clinical waste or other regulated goods. These descriptions do not establish acceptance, and specialist or temperature-controlled transport is not offered here.

If you are unsure whether the goods need a specialist service, confirm their transport requirements with the sender or the responsible person in your organisation before requesting collection. Do not omit a requirement to make an enquiry appear suitable for a general courier.

Plan the collection point and receiving department.

Provide the full address and exact department, loading point or reception location at both ends. A hospital or healthcare site can have several entrances with different receiving arrangements. Include the collection contact, receiving hours and any access appointment or delivery reference.

Give package count, external dimensions, total weight and available loading help. Identify heavy or awkward equipment, stairs and carrying distances. Vehicle capacity is only part of suitability; packaging, handling and the agreed service scope must also fit the consignment.

Share delivery information without patient information.

An initial enquiry should explain the transport need without patient names, clinical records or copies of sensitive documents. Use general descriptions and relevant organisational contacts. Keep unnecessary personal or medical information out of the email and external package labelling.

Email your requirements before using the online quote. We can then confirm whether the request is suitable for general courier transport and what further practical details are needed. A price estimate, vehicle suggestion or enquiry acknowledgement is not medical-service approval or booking confirmation.

Your questions, answered.

Do you offer a specialist certified medical courier service?

This page does not claim a licensed specialist medical service. We consider only suitable general courier consignments individually and decline work needing certifications or authorisations we do not hold.

Can I book samples or temperature-sensitive goods through the standard quote?

Do not treat the standard quote as acceptance of such goods. This page does not offer clinical-sample or temperature-controlled transport. Confirm the required specialist arrangements with your organisation before seeking a suitable provider.

Can you carry equipment for a healthcare organisation?

Describe the equipment, condition, packaging, weight and any transport requirements by email. Suitable general courier items may be considered individually; equipment is not automatically accepted just because it is non-perishable.

What information should I include?

Send a general description, practical transport requirements, both addresses, timing, packaged dimensions, weight and site contacts. Do not include patient records or unnecessary personal information.
