European delivery. Start with the whole journey.

Send documents, parcels, business equipment or palletised goods between Cornwall, the wider UK and European destinations. Share the route and the goods so the service can be arranged around the shipment.

Collections and deliveries in both directions.

A supplier collection for Cornwall needs as much planning as an outward customer delivery. Give both countries, full addresses and postcodes, with a contact able to release and receive the goods. For more than one stop, set out the itinerary and the load at each address.

Explain whether you are sending an envelope, cartons, packaged equipment or pallets. Destination availability and suitable transport are reviewed for the consignment. A European enquiry does not assume the same service, vehicle or delivery time for every country.

Connect the deadline with collection readiness.

State the date and local time the complete load will be ready, then the receiving hours and latest acceptable arrival. Identify fixed appointments, exhibition access slots or an onward journey that depends on the delivery. Border formalities and receiving arrangements also affect the plan.

If an exclusive vehicle, direct journey or restriction on transfers is essential, say so when requesting the quote. These are requirements to agree for the shipment, rather than assumptions attached to every European service.

Prepare the load and the cross-border information.

Measure each finished package and give its weight, including pallets or crates. Explain loading access, stackability and any equipment required. For heavier loads, confirm who can load and unload at both ends.

For goods crossing between Great Britain and the EU, customs arrangements need consideration. Include an accurate goods description, value, origin and purpose of movement, such as sale, repair or return. Business identifiers, commodity codes and supporting paperwork may also be needed. GOV.UK export guidance explains the general process; the shipment's responsibilities must be agreed separately.

Europe includes destinations outside the EU, and Northern Ireland movements can follow different rules. Provide the actual countries and route rather than treating all European journeys as one customs category.

Keep transport costs and customs responsibilities clear.

Ask what the transport quote includes and identify who will arrange declarations, provide documents and meet any applicable duties, taxes or clearance charges. Include the recipient in that discussion before dispatch. Email is useful for keeping the itinerary and supporting details together.

For a return collection or temporary movement, describe both legs at the outset. A return after a repair or event should be planned with its own readiness time and paperwork requirements.

Your questions, answered.

Can you collect in Europe for delivery to Cornwall?

Yes, we review European collection enquiries as well as outward deliveries. Send the country, full collection address, goods details and destination so availability and the required arrangements can be checked.

Do you publish a fixed European transit time?

Timing depends on the countries, service, collection readiness, border requirements and receiving arrangements. Give your essential deadline so the proposed timing can be discussed for the actual shipment.

Can I use the online quote for an international shipment?

Email the international details first, especially for pallets, unusual handling or customs questions. The online quote remains available for straightforward UK deliveries.
