When a missing component holds up a job or a document needs to reach its recipient today, the collection time matters as much as the destination. Our same-day courier service is for consignments that need to arrive on the day they are collected.
We arrange deliveries within Cornwall, from Cornwall to other UK destinations and collections elsewhere for delivery into Cornwall. UK-wide journeys can also be considered. Tell us when the goods will be ready and the latest time they can be received.
What to include in your same-day quote request
Give both postcodes, the date, the time the complete load will be ready and the latest time it can be received. State whether the deadline is essential or preferred. Include the item count, packed dimensions and weight, plus any booked receiving slot or onward connection.
In the online form, choose the collection timing that matches when the goods will be ready and SAME DAY for delivery. Add the essential arrival time and access details in Special requirements / Notes. For a deadline or route that the form cannot describe clearly, email the full brief.
Can you collect and deliver today?
Same-day availability depends on the route, suitable transport and the time available. Send the goods-ready time and receiving deadline together so the journey can be assessed. Collection and delivery timings are confirmed for the individual booking; a quote request alone does not reserve a vehicle.
If you need an exclusive vehicle, a direct journey or no transfers, request Dedicated transport by email. Same-day describes the delivery timing; the transport and handling arrangements must also be agreed.
Have the goods and the recipient ready
Pack and label every item, give the collection contact a clear item count and check that the receiving contact can accept the delivery. Mention parking restrictions, narrow access and any loading equipment or additional help required before booking.
For pallets or heavier goods, confirm what loading equipment is available at each address. A vehicle large enough for the load does not by itself establish how the goods will be loaded or unloaded.
What happens after you request a quote?
Check the offered service, timing, price and Terms against your actual requirements before accepting. If the reply does not address an essential deadline, ask for written clarification. Your delivery is booked only when we issue Booking Confirmation under the applicable Terms.
For several stops, unusual handling or an exclusive vehicle, send the route and requirements together by email. A scheduled delivery may be more suitable when the arrival date is known in advance and delivery today is not needed.

How quickly can you collect my goods?
Tell us where the goods are, when the complete load will be packed and ready, and the latest acceptable delivery time. Collection depends on the route and suitable transport being available. Include the recipient’s receiving hours for urgent work, and wait for the actual collection arrangements to be confirmed.
Can I request a fixed delivery time or receiving appointment?
Yes. Give the exact appointment, correct receiving entrance and a contact who can accept the goods. Dedicated and Premium allow requested dates and times for review. Standard uses flexible, operator-selected days, so a fixed appointment needs review for Premium or Dedicated. Fixed appointments are outside Economy. Make clear whether the deadline means arrival at the gate or completed unloading and handover.
Is same-day delivery a separate vehicle or service type?
Same-day describes the timing you need. We also need to know whether the vehicle must be exclusive, whether planned transfers are acceptable and what handling the goods require. Use the Service Finder or send the route, ready time and delivery deadline. Feasibility and availability are reviewed before any same-day collection or delivery is confirmed.
What if the goods or recipient will not be ready?
Contact booking support as soon as you know, using the booking reference. Give the new ready time or receiving restriction and confirm whether the original delivery deadline still applies. Waiting, a failed handover or a revised movement may affect the plan and price. Do not assume the driver can wait indefinitely or leave the goods somewhere else without agreement.
