Use the full length, width and height of each item once it is ready to travel. Add together the weights of all items and include pallets, crates and packaging. Mention anything that protrudes or cannot be stacked.
A larger vehicle does not automatically include a tail lift, a pallet truck or a second person. Tell us what equipment and assistance will be available at each address, and what you need us to arrange.
No. It compares your entered goods with category guide dimensions and payload. For identical items it checks a simple arrangement without stacking; mixed loads need individual planning. The actual vehicle’s usable space, door openings, wheel arches, load restraint, access and equipment still need to be confirmed. A suggested category does not reserve a vehicle.
Measure each complete item after packaging: length, width and height, including any crate, pallet or overhang. Give the gross weight and the number of pieces. Tell us if an item must remain upright, cannot be stacked or has a fragile surface. For the Vehicle Finder, weight is per item and quantity is the number of identical packed items.
Please provide an item list instead. An average can hide a long, heavy or awkward piece, and total volume does not prove that different shapes fit together. Give each type of item its own packaged dimensions, weight and quantity. Include stacking restrictions and identify which pieces move between which stops on a multi-stop journey.
Do not assume that a category name confirms equipment availability or suitability for your load. State the equipment needed at each address. The actual lift platform, safe working load, combined weight being lifted and ground conditions need checking separately from the vehicle payload. Include the weight of any handling equipment that must travel on the lift.
