Courier deliveries from Cornwall to Birmingham.

Birmingham is about 250 miles from Truro by road. After the A30 reaches Exeter, the M5 runs north past Bristol, Gloucester and Worcester and ends at the M6 near West Bromwich. Junctions along the way serve the south of the city, the Black Country and the M42 towards the NEC and Birmingham Airport.

Delivering in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone covers the roads inside the A4540 Middleway ring road, where older vehicles that do not meet its emission standard pay a daily charge. Industrial estates across the city and the Black Country have goods-in hours and loading docks, and the Jewellery Quarter and city-centre streets have tighter access and loading restrictions.

  • Factories and trading estates: give the unit, goods-in hours and whether a forklift or loading dock is available.
  • Exhibition venues: give the hall, stand number, delivery slot and any vehicle pass or booking reference.
  • City-centre offices and shops: describe the loading arrangements and how far the goods need to be carried.
  • Homes: give a contact who will be there and where a vehicle can stop.

Questions about Cornwall to Birmingham deliveries.

Can you deliver from Cornwall to Birmingham the same day? It depends on when the goods are ready, the delivery deadline and the vehicle available. Send the ready time and the latest arrival time, and we will confirm what is possible before booking.

Can you deliver to an exhibition at the NEC? Yes. Send the hall, stand, delivery slot and the venue’s booking details with your quote request, so the journey is planned around them.

Do you deliver inside Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone? Yes. Give the full delivery address, and the zone and the access will be taken into account when the journey is planned and quoted.

View all questions & answers
Is same-day delivery a separate vehicle or service type?

Same-day describes the timing you need. We also need to know whether the vehicle must be exclusive, whether planned transfers are acceptable and what handling the goods require. Use the Service Finder or send the route, ready time and delivery deadline. Feasibility and availability are reviewed before any same-day collection or delivery is confirmed.

How is Premium different from Dedicated?

Both plan the same driver and vehicle throughout, without planned depot or hub transfers, and allow you to request dates for confirmation. Dedicated is exclusive to your consignment. Premium may carry compatible goods from another customer. If exclusivity is essential, say so explicitly rather than assuming that a direct journey means an empty vehicle apart from your goods.

Does choosing a Luton include a tail lift or pallet truck?

Do not assume that a category name confirms equipment availability or suitability for your load. State the equipment needed at each address. The actual lift platform, safe working load, combined weight being lifted and ground conditions need checking separately from the vehicle payload. Include the weight of any handling equipment that must travel on the lift.

What information helps with regular business deliveries?

Share your usual routes, frequency, typical goods, packaged sizes, receiving arrangements and any predictable busy periods. Mention what changes from job to job. We can discuss a practical service and quoting process, with availability, pricing and any account facilities agreed individually. Regular work does not automatically establish a fixed rate, reserved capacity or credit terms.
