Courier deliveries from Cornwall to London.

London is about 255 miles from Truro by road, so the ready time and the delivery deadline shape the plan from the start. The usual routes leave Cornwall on the A30 and continue either on the M5 and M4 or across Somerset and Wiltshire on the A303. We choose the route for your journey and delivery time, not from a fixed timetable.

  • Same-day delivery to London, when the goods are ready early enough and a suitable vehicle is available.
  • Dedicated transport: one vehicle for your goods, from collection to delivery, without planned transfers.
  • Pallets and bulky items, with the loading equipment confirmed at both ends.
  • Documents that must arrive by a set time, such as tenders and signed contracts.

Plan the timing for a London delivery.

For a delivery the same day, tell us when the complete load will be packed and ready, and the latest time it can arrive. An early collection in Cornwall gives the most options. If the deadline is the next morning, say so: a later collection and an early delivery may suit the goods better.

Dedicated and Premium allow requested dates and times for review. Standard and Economy suit non-urgent goods with flexible dates. Our guide to choosing a courier service explains the differences.

Delivering in London.

Central London addresses are inside the Congestion Charge zone, and the Ultra Low Emission Zone covers every London borough. Many main roads are red routes, where stopping is restricted, and office buildings often need a booked loading bay or goods-in slot. Tell us about these at the delivery address, so they can be planned and quoted before the journey.

  • Offices and shops: give the goods-in entrance, any loading-bay booking and the security check-in.
  • Upper floors: say which floor, whether there is a goods lift and how far the goods need to be carried.
  • Trade and industrial sites, such as Park Royal or the Lea Valley: give the unit, goods-in hours and the loading equipment available.
  • Homes: say where a vehicle can stop near the door and who will receive the goods.

From London back to Cornwall.

We also collect in London for delivery into Cornwall: stock from a supplier, equipment returning from an event, or goods bought from a London business. Give both addresses, a collection contact and the time the goods will be ready. For addresses in Cornwall, see Camborne, Truro and the Cornwall delivery guide.

Events and exhibitions deliveries to London venues are planned around the venue’s delivery booking. Other journeys from Cornwall include Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.

Questions about Cornwall to London deliveries.

Can you deliver from Cornwall to London the same day? It depends on when the goods are ready, the delivery deadline and the vehicle available. Send the ready time and the latest arrival time, and we will confirm what is possible before booking.

Will my goods share the van? With Dedicated transport, the vehicle is exclusive to your consignment. Premium may carry compatible goods from another customer, with the same driver and vehicle throughout. If exclusivity is essential, say so when you ask for a quote.

Do you deliver inside the Congestion Charge zone? Yes. Give the full delivery address and any loading-bay booking, and we will take the zone and the access into account when quoting.

Useful before you book

A few details, made clear.

View all questions & answers
Can I request a fixed delivery time or receiving appointment?

Yes. Give the exact appointment, correct receiving entrance and a contact who can accept the goods. Dedicated and Premium allow requested dates and times for review. Standard uses flexible, operator-selected days, so a fixed appointment needs review for Premium or Dedicated. Fixed appointments are outside Economy. Make clear whether the deadline means arrival at the gate or completed unloading and handover.

What if there are stairs, a long carry or difficult access?

Explain the floors, carry distance, doorway and stair dimensions, stopping place and the goods’ size and weight. Photographs can help clarify the route from the vehicle to the handover point. Additional handling and any extra person must be arranged beforehand; selecting a larger vehicle does not provide a two-person crew or confirm safe access.

Can a booking include several collection or delivery stops?

Send the stops in order, the goods changing hands at each address and any receiving windows. Dedicated, Premium and Standard extra stops need route and price review. Economy normally has one collection and one delivery; extra addresses require an individual exception, with its usual goods limits and deadline still applying. The vehicle must suit the load carried at every stage.

Can you arrange a return collection after a delivery or event?

Yes, send the outward and return requirements together. Include both sets of addresses and dates, what will travel in each direction and when the returning goods will be packed and accessible. A return journey is not automatically included in the outward price or covered by its receiving appointment; the complete arrangement needs confirmation.
